I know I've already posted today but this excerpt from a Toronto Star article was too good to not pass on (especially to those of you who don't get to read the Star due to your location in the world)...
I've owned sport utility vehicles, sports cars, sedans and every size of van. Regardless of what the brochures promise, there is one thing that remains constant: it's about the driver. The best vehicle on the road is only as good as the person behind the wheel.
True race drivers save it for the track, and a 4X4 is no guarantee of safety if the person driving it has a 2X4 for a brain.
Just remember the vagaries of the weather are bigger than all of us
