Mexico, Golf, Physio

From April 26-30 I was in Mexico for our Sales Conference for work. We had an AMAZING time. We stayed at the Westin, Cancun and for the first time in years they only required us to work mornings, leaving the afternoons free. The service at the resort was great; and unlike most all inclusives they would bring your drinks to your pool chair and you could also order food off the menu around the pool too. Unfortunately spouses were not allowed so Ryan had to hold down the fort while I was away.

I started Golf lessons this week and I'm very excited about them. This week was mostly theory, including golf vocab so now we'll all know what is being talked about on television. I have to practise getting comfortable with my grip this weekend and my next lesson is Monday.

I have finally finished physio! Well it sort of went like this, I had a week out west on business and had no pain. When I returned to physio I had so much pain afterwards that I almost drove myself to the hospital. I went to see my family doctor who instructed me to take a 2 week physio holiday. The holiday went well and at the end she recommended I no longer take physio. I have minimal pain now, usually at the end of the day (especially if it is a day like yesterday where I had TWO trade shows and stood all day long). I am doing some massage therapy now as well, our neighbour Danny is my therapist, he normally works for a chronic pain clinic so he's taking really good care of my back and neck. Unfortunately with me getting better also comes the end of my insurance company covering my housekeeping. I have to get back to cleaning myself, except the vacuuming which will be left to Ryan. Sigh.
