Storm Last Night

A few new things to update you on...
First of all, Ryan got a new car on Friday, a 2007 VW GTI he is very excited as it is his first new car. He's owned many cars before but all pre-owned. I will post a picture of him with the car once the weather cooperates.
Now on to the weather. What a storm last night! The sky was amazing as the storm came across Lake Simcoe our way - it was dark grey/green in colour. I took pictures but they do not it any justice. We lost power for about a 1/2 hour, and we discovered (yet again) that our Beavercrook, er Beaverbrook, home is leaking. We noticed the leaking in the past and noted it on our one year form and it has yet to have been corrected. Here is a picture of the puddle in the cold cellar. Luckily I got thirsty and our fridge had no pop in it, hence I went down to the cold cellar to get some pop to fill up the fridge, otherwise we would have never known about the leaking. Hopefully we can get it fixed. You can't really tell from the picture but it seemed as if the leaking was coming from the top of the door frame (door leading from the basement to the cellar). And we found upstairs there was no water on the porch, which is a real concern as to where it was coming from. We'll see how long this problem takes to get corrected.
