I'm getting old

While Ryan and I were watching tv the other night I saw an advertisement for the Gap, "hello Audrey", for their new Skinny Fit Black Pants which I find absolutely horrifying. I must be getting old because I remember wearing Skinny/tapered pants in the 80s and I vowed once flared/boot cut pants came in that I'd never wear tapered pants again. Well they are back to haunt us. I must admit in the commercial the fact the pants are a bit cropped makes them look not too bad, but then again the girl in the commercial is probably a size zero and anything looks good on a size zero. I don't plan on buying into this trend, Ryan and I came to the conclusion this means I'm getting old. I figure with age comes hanging on to fashion that you like and not necessarily buying what is "in style" and this is what is happening. God help me.
