Our Little Devil

Last night for dinner I decided to make a roast chicken & roast vegetables. While cleaning up the kitchen after dinner, I was carving the rest of the chicken and putting some aside for Ryan's lunch the next day. I guess I left the chicken carcass too close to the edge of the counter; when I turned around to put the chicken in the fridge Sam jumped up and grabbed the chicken carcass and ran around the house with it. Ryan managed to catch her and as he was trying to get it out of her mouth she somehow devoured the caracas. What a little devil. Luckily it seems to have passed through her - I was convinced we'd be up all night last night with a sick dog but that did not happen. From now on I will have to make sure the cutting board is well back from the edge of the counter.
