In my efforts to make our house a little greener I have discovered many uses for Vinegar. Here are some great websites I've found that I thought I'd share:

I especially enjoyed the Reader's Digest article as vinegar has so many uses. We have switched to vinegar as a fabric softener (we can use on Alyssa's laundry as well). I also have a spray bottle of vinegar and a spray bottle of half vinegar/half water to use when cleaning. I started using vinegar with hot water and a small drop of kitchen soap to clean the floors and wow does it ever make them shine! With Alyssa being on formula now I am constantly boiling the kettle so I'm putting their kettle cleaning with vinegar to the test once a week. I've also used baking soda and vinegar to clean out our drains, Vinegar to disinfect toilets and have steam-cleaned our microwave with vinegar and water. An added bonus is the low cost of vinegar makes this a cheap way to go green while eliminating harmful chemicals in cleaning products from being used in our home!
