Update

It has been a while. My work computer got a virus so I had to take it back to work and I haven't gotten it back yet. It is more difficult to transfer the pictures from our camera on our other computer so I've been slacking.

We welcomed baby Jack to the (extended) family and I failed to blog that...here is a picture of him from Thanksgiving when we finally got to meet him!

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend, at the Booker's on Saturday and my parent's on Sunday.

Here is Alyssa at my mom's, waiting for her dinner (not Turkey)On holiday Monday we went to a local farm where they have hay rides, a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, apple picking, etc. They had these pumpkin cannons that shoot pumpkins out of them for the audience. It was quite impressive and we may need to make this a yearly tradition. I think we enjoyed that more than Alyssa; she didn't care for the noise. Here are some pictures from the farm


Alyssa now has her 5th and 6th teeth. I have a feeling she's working on 7 & 8. She is chewing on everything, the crib, the entertainment centre, you name it. I think it is worse than having a chewing puppy!

We got our first cold last Wednesday after Alyssa put all the toys in her mouth at Mother Goose (a program we go to at our local library). Her little friend Sebastien up the street also got the cold, I suppose they shared more than just the toys that day. Ryan and I got it too, a few days after Alyssa. She doesn't quite understand that we don't want to be drooled on when she's sick.

She's cruising around everything now and prefers standing to crawling, unless she wants to get somewhere in a hurry.

Tomorrow she is going to be a pumpkin, I'll be sure to post pics when I get the chance.
