Progress...

I seem to be making some progress with my recovery. For the first time on Monday I had little to no back pain. My neck is still stiff but not all the time. This is a welcome change from last week as the pain kept getting worse and worse and I didn't think I'd ever recover. It is crazy (and exhausting) being in pain all the time; this has made me truly grateful for my good health.

I am happy to report the new truck is amazing. I am so much more relaxed now when driving. I am still driving like a Grandma but I think I'll stick to being overly cautious for the next little while. I must give Ryan credit for being so patient with me. Last week there was a little crying episode (while I still had the Sebring rental) because I got stuck in Newmarket with pretty bad weather and didn't want to drive home. Luckily the weather was not bad at all east of the 404 and driving home was not a problem. It seems there was a pocket of snow confined to Newmarket. Sometime soon we are going to take the Truck to a snowy parking lot so I can see how it reacts in the snow, feel the AWD kick in, etc. I guess all I can do is keep driving or I will never get my confidence back.
