Trivia win...

Many of you may know our local pub offers trivia every other Tuesday. It isn't NTN trivia as some may guess; a guy reads the questions over a mic and you write your answers on a piece of paper. Last night we won second place. A huge accomplishment considering "RANDS" were not there to help us. Last night the theme was commercials...so they read a tag line and you had to guess the product. Fun times!

I've increased my exercising at physio as of yesterday. It is amazing how out of shape I am after just 2 month of not doing much. Yesterday I had to do 40 squats while lifting 20 lbs. Today my quads hurt so much I can hardly walk, lol.

Recently we thought our furnace was broken but the good news is it was just our thermostat! We changed it on the weekend and now the house maintains its temperature. Phew. I can certainly cough up the money for a new thermostat over a new furnace.

I am now addicted to Facebook. Last night I spent two hours on it looking up people from High School and University, it is neat to connect with people again and see what they are up to.

We are finally tackling our spare room. This week/weekend will be painting and then we will get a mattress for it. Soon our guests will have a nice haven when they come to visit us and drink too much :)
