Old Friends

Last night at our Calgary event I met an old friend from elementary school. I realize I'm in Calgary and there was a chance of that happening but I am completely freaked out by the whole thing. I went up to the bartender to try and scam some free drinks because we had run out of drink tickets. The event we were working was PAINFUL, no where as good as the Vancouver one, and so few people in attendance, so we passed the time by drinking. Anyways he wouldn't cave so I scammed a few tickets off of other vendors in attendance. Then I go up to trade in my tickets and he says to me, I have to ask you, did you grow up in Calgary? So I said yes, until I was 12. He responds "you are Katie Fabian". I was so shocked. He was Ian Fleming and I went to elementary school with him. Crazy.
