After much deliberation and stroller research I am now confident we picked the winning stroller! Aunt Diane was nice enough to send us the UV and Storm stroller covers as a gift. They arrived yesterday and given that today is a sunny day I was eager to give them a whirl. We had a lovely walk (with Sam!) around the neighbourhood and got some much needed vitamin D. Alyssa looked ever so cute (as always) in her bunny snowsuit that Nikki gave us.
Besides having our first outside stroll I got to have my first baby-free outing this week. I wanted to go to Bulk Barn and Michaels and given that they are both "big box" stores in Newmarket, and outside as opposed to in a mall, it would be difficult to cart Alyssa along (especially since it was -20 this week with the windchill). One night Ryan came home from work, gave Alyssa a bottle I had pumped for her, and off I went for 2 hours of shopping. It was very nice to have a drive and outing alone and I got everything accomplished so quickly.
