Daycare

This morning I dropped Alyssa off for her first full day at daycare. Yesterday was a bad, cranky child kind of day and yesterday I was thinking I cannot wait to have today to myself to bake and relax. Well now today is here and I've dropped her off just an hour ago; I miss her already. I can't even fathom how tough this is going to be come January when I'm back to work full time.

Alyssa, on the other hand, enjoys daycare. I drop her off and she scurries away and plays with the toys and doesn't even care about me anymore. She's a very social baby now which is nice because I'd rather have that than one who is attached to me at the hip. She's changed so much in the last 5 months or so, it used to be she'd only want mommy if I was around, now mommy's boring because she sees me all the time. *Sigh* how time flies, my little baby is growing too fast.
