On Saturday we went to see the Dixie Chicks at the Air Canada Centre. They put on such a great show, I wanted to attend the Sunday performance as well! There was lots of excellent people watching as well, which I suppose is to be expected at a concert. At the beginning of the concert they played a trailer for their documentary “Shut Up and Sing” which is out November 10. The trailer gave me goosebumps, I wanted to see the movie before but now I must see it in the theatre. Natalie Maines commented that Canadians are portrayed very favourably in the movie. Thanks to Nikki and Chris for the tickets Saturday!!!

I can't say that I've ever been a big fan of the Dixie Chicks, or any country music over the last 10 years, but I watched the trailer and wow... I had no idea that things got so ridiculous for them. Good on them for speaking out.
