Funkins

Call me Scrooge but I really don't like buying and carving pumpkins each year. I feel it is too much work for one day. In fact we haven't had a real pumpkin since we moved to Mount Albert. This year my neighbour Jill told me about fake pumpkins (funkins) that are available at Michael's that are carvable! Who knew?! So yesterday I went out and got 2 on sale (50% off!) and carved them, here are the results:

The number of trick or treaters we get is growing every year. This year I'd say we had at least 100 kids, up from last year. I guess that happens in a young neighbourhood. Happy Halloween!

Beats the 9 (yes, nine!) I had this year...

I do, however, have 61 teeny tiny Mars bars to enjoy :)

okay, so i took one look at the pumpkins and thought "good lord, those were carved by a mighty steady hand!". forget business katie, with that kind of precision you should become a surgeon. nice job!
